International Conference against Terrorism
JMUF, which has laid its thrust on the promotion
of brotherhood and global peace when the scourge of terrorism
threatens the same, has convened this conference against the
terrorism. Mr. Syed Yahya Bukhari, President,
JMUF chaired the meeting.
In today’s scenario, in our own country many states
are withstanding the worst of terrorism in diverse form, which
is out there to destroy the world: but certainly, we can not
give these enemies of humanity a befitting reply by reacting
in the manner similar to theirs. What is needed to get rid
of their dangerous designs & actions is to mobilize awareness
about the problem on the global level cutting across all sections
of the world.
With the above mentioned purposes, the JMUF organized an international
conference against terrorism with the topic on 'Terrorism
National and International'. To make the international conference
purposeful, successful & effective in achieving this objective
eminent scholars, social activists, religious heads, politicians
& luminaries from all walks of life were invited from
across the world to elicit their views & suggestions.
The conference was a grand success as it was attended by prominent
figures like Cabinet Ministers, Chief Ministers, Ambassadors
of various countries, Senior Bureaucrats, Social Activists
along with prominent media persons and on top of all HH the
Dalai Lama.
